Currently, Gandolfini lives a peaceful and private life with her mom, Deborah, in Los Angeles, having moved from New York. There have been sightings of Deborah with another man, suggesting she may have found comfort in a new relationship after her marriage to James.

Liliana Gandolfini Parent's Relationship

Liliana Gandolfini parent's Deborah Lin and James Gandolfini first crossed paths when Lin was working as a budding model and makeup artist, while Gandolfini was busy with movie filming. Although their initial connection was professional, it eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.

Their romantic journey began in December 2006, amidst swirling rumors of their dating. However, it wasn't until March 2007 that Lin and Gandolfini made their first public appearance as a couple. 

Following this, during a vacation in the Bahamas in January 2008, James proposed to Deborah, and she joyfully accepted. On August 30, 2008, at Central Union Church, Deborah and James exchanged their wedding vows surrounded by friends and family in a beautiful, intimate ceremony.

Sadly, tragedy struck the family after Gandolfini passed away on June 19, 2013, in Rome, Italy, leaving Liliana and Deborah in mourning.

Liliana Gandolfini's Brother from Her Dad's Other Marriage 

Liliana Gandolfini has a good relationship with her half-brother, Michael Gandolfini. Michael is James Gandolfini's son from his previous marriage to Marcy Wudarksi, a film producer. 

Gandolfini has always cared for his younger sister, Liliana, from the very beginning. He is often seen in pictures holding her. Born on May 10, 1999, in New York City, Michael is now an actor. 

Interestingly, Liliana's brother has taken on the role of Tony Soprano, originally played by their dad, in various movies and TV series like "Ocean's Eight," "Cherry," and "The Many Saints of Newark." He has been involved in many projects. 

Michael is about to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with a role in "Daredevil: Born Again." Although he hasn't shared details about the character, he did mention it's connected to Staten Island.

According to James Gandolfini's will, 20% of his wealth was designated for Liliana. Additionally, the properties in Italy were evenly split between Liliana and her brother, Michael Gandolfini, with the distribution set to take place when she turns 25.

Following his will, James Gandolfini allocated $200,000 to his assistant, Trixie Flynn. He also provided $500,000 to each of his nieces, Laura and Jenna Antonacci. 

Furthermore, 30% of his property went to each of his sisters, Leta Gandolfini and Johanna Antonacci. Additionally, the late actor generously distributed some amounts to his close friends as per his wishes.

Liliana Gandolfini's Dad Passes Away Unexpectedly 

At the age of 51, James Gandolfini unexpectedly passed away on June 19, 2013, just days before his planned trip to Sicily to receive an award at the Taormina Film Festival. On that day, James had been out sightseeing in the hot sun with his family.

Liliana's brother, Michael Gandolfini, found him unconscious on the bathroom floor at the Boscolo Exedra Hotel around 10 pm and quickly told the hotel staff. They called for a paramedic, who rushed him to the hospital. 

By the time he arrived at the hospital around 10:40 p.m., James was pronounced dead due to a heart attack. His body was brought back to the United States on June 24, 2013, and a funeral service took place on June 27, 2013, at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Morningside Heights, Manhattan, New York.

In a special moment, Liliana Gandolfini, the daughter of James Gandolfini, appeared at "The Sopranos" Convention in 2019 to pay respect to her father's legacy. A picture of 10-year-old Liliana standing in front of her dad's photo was shared on the official Instagram page @sopranoscon, touching the hearts of many fans.

The convention's organizer expressed gratitude, saying, "James Gandolfini’s daughter Liliana at #sopranoscon. We are truly humbled to have the support of the Gandolfini family."

James's wife Deborah Lin also expressed a wish for the enduring love of fans for Gandolfini and "The Sopranos" to continue. Lin hopes that her husband's legacy will be cherished and passed down through the generations.
